Denise Kavanaugh 14's

Founded Club Elite in 1995, Co-founded 1st Chicago Alliance in 2004, Coach of Downers Grove South High School 1991-2002,Coached three Illinois State Championships,Has earned multiple Illinois Coach of the year awards, 1999 National High School Coach of the year, Current Athletic Director of Downers Grove North High School.

Colleen Korous 13's

Current Club Elite Director, Head Coach since 1996, Has coached every age division in USA Volleyball,Has coached in multiple open and national division groups at USA Junior Nationals. As a player, Colleen is best known for serving the jump serve ace to win Downers Grove South´s first State Volleyball Championship!

John Kasik 15's

Coach Kasik has an extensive volleyball resume. He was Head Coach at Oak Park River Forest High School for the boys and the girls. He was an Assistant Coach at Illinois State University in 1983 and at George Williams College in 1989.

As a player, he was a member of many AA open teams and trained for the USA National Team.

Coach Kasik has trained under and with Jim Coleman, Doug Beal, Terry Lyskevich, Bill Walton and Russ Rose. Quite an "A´" list in the volleyball community.

Tom Kinsella

Tom is a 2005 Graduate from North Central College. He has a degree in Physical Education and an endorsement in Social Science. Tom teaches at McKinley Park Elementary where he started the first volleyball and soccer program. Tom has coached club for three years at Club Elite and High school teams at Waubonsie and Downers Grove North. This past summer Tom completed the Chicago Triathalon!

Bobby Anderson 15's

Bobby is in his third year coaching here at Club Elite. Last year he coached in our 14´s age division. Bobby graduated and competed in volleyball at Hinsdale South High School. He is now an Assistant for the Girls and Boys volleyball Programs at Hinsdale South. He is currently working on his teaching degree at UIC.

Dave MacDonald 13's

Dave is a graduate from Illinois State University with a degree in Physical Education. Dave was a member of the baseball team at ISU as a pitcher. Dave has coached volleyball at Club Elite for 3 years at the 14´s and 16´s levels. He has been very invovled in coaching at the high school level at Hinsdale South,Downers grove South and Nequa Valley. Currently Dave is Teaching and coaching at the Middle School level.

Sue Keck/15-16 Director

Sue Keck is the Director of Lions Volleyball Club and the Co-Director of 1st Alliance of Chicago. She will be overseeing our 15-16 groups.

Kelly West

Kelly is a Club Elite original, She set for the very first Club Elite 14 Team back in 1995. She is a 2000 graduate of Downers Grove South and a member of both the 1996 and 1999 State Championship teams. Kelly earned an undergraduate and masters degree in physical therapy from St. Louis University. Kelly played club ball there and helped the Bilikens to a 5th place finish at Nationals in 2004, she was also named an All American Setter that year. Kelly has coached for Club Elite and this past season at O´Neill Middle School. Kelly is currently a physical therapist at Marianjoy Rehabilitation hospital in Wheaton.

Katie Vegter 15's

Katie attended Willowbrook High School and earned All-Conference and All-Academic Honors. She then attended Augustana College were she played Libero. Her senior year she was voted Most valuable Defensive Player. She has coached two years of club in Moline and worked as an Assistant Coach at Assumption High School. Katie is currently an Assistant Coach at Willowbrook High School.
